Interview with Willie Smith, a businessman and community leader, concerning his experiences as a resident of Hamilton Park, Texas from 1959 to 1990. Smith discusses his early work experience, his service during the Korean War, his positions with the Lawyers Title Insurance Company, his decision to buy a home in Hamilton Park in 1959, public transportation problems, flooding problems, shopping, deed restrictions, Interorganizational Council and political activities, Dad's Club and PTA at the Hamilton Park School, desegregation and the effects on Hamilton Park School, zoning problems, Civic League, and church activities.
